Good Wednesday morning, my dear readers!
I’ve had a rather discouraging start to September. When I’m feeling rather down on myself, I look for something encouraging that happened in the past.
Recently, I worked with a customer out of Australia who asked me to re-write her personal statement so she could start up a house-sitting business to pay her way through law school.
After I was done, I got the feedback 2 days later, and I was so pleased.
Within 48 hours of using the work Adam supplied me, it has achieved its purpose. Adam wrote me a personal statement for an area that is notoriously hard to break into without experience. Within one day I have received many offers and within two days already booked a job (with others pending). I could not fault Adam’s professionalism and communication. He is a skilled writer and one that I hope to work with again. Thank you Adam, much appreciated!
That, I think, is the best testimonial I’ve received from a client yet.
So I guess the takeaway here is when you’re having a discouraging time, check out your reviews and feedback from your past clients. Remember something you did in your past that made you proud and made people proud of you and just know it’s going to happen again and, if you’re an optimist like myself, that time will be here before you know it.
